Nephrology
Patients with complaints relating to kidney function are referred to the department.
After an initial assessment, the treating nephrologists orders appropriate diagnostic
tests such as blood tests, urine tests, ultrasonography, kidney biopsy etc. Based
on the test results a diagnosis is made and appropriate care/treatment is given
or advised. The outpatient clinic also has nephrology nurse educators to provide
counseling regarding life style modification, diet and options of renal replacement
therapy.
We are running unit since 10 years now and we are pleased to say that we have dialyses
( Hemo dialyses) almost 30000+ patients till now. We have 10 machines with experienced
technicians and on call nephrologist Dr. Prateek Tripathi ( DM- Nephrology consultant
FORTIS ESCORTS HOSPITAL) who visits 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month. Entire unit
is centrally Air Conditioned and Heated as per needs.
नेफ्रोलॉजी
किडनी खराब होने की शिकायत वाले मरीजों को विभाग रेफर कर दिया जाता है। प्रारंभिक मूल्यांकन
के बाद, उपचार करने वाले नेफ्रोलॉजिस्ट रक्त परीक्षण, मूत्र परीक्षण, अल्ट्रासोनोग्राफी,
किडनी बायोप्सी आदि जैसे उपयुक्त नैदानिक परीक्षणों का आदेश देते हैं। परीक्षण के
परिणामों के आधार पर निदान किया जाता है और उचित देखभाल / उपचार दिया जाता है या सलाह
दी जाती है। आउट पेशेंट क्लिनिक में नेफ्रोलॉजी नर्स शिक्षक भी हैं जो जीवन शैली में
संशोधन, आहार और रीनल रिप्लेसमेंट थेरेपी के विकल्पों के बारे में परामर्श प्रदान करते
हैं।
हम 10 साल से यूनिट चला रहे हैं और हमें यह कहते हुए खुशी हो रही है कि हमारे पास अब
तक लगभग 30,000+ मरीज डायलिसिस (हीमो डायलिसिस) हैं। हमारे पास अनुभवी तकनीशियनों के
साथ 10 मशीनें हैं और कॉल नेफ्रोलॉजिस्ट डॉ प्रतीक त्रिपाठी (डीएम-नेफ्रोलॉजी सलाहकार
फोर्टिस एस्कॉर्ट्स अस्पताल) हैं जो हर महीने के दूसरे और चौथे रविवार का दौरा करते
हैं। पूरी इकाई केंद्रीय रूप से वातानुकूलित और आवश्यकतानुसार गर्म होती है।
